Data deletion
Kira Lang has no accounts and no sign-up. Almost all of your data — progress, words, settings — is stored on your phone. To delete it, all you need to do is clear the app’s data or delete the app. No request to us is needed for that.
There is one exception: your email address, if you left it in the closed test request form. That one sits with us, and the section below explains how to erase it.
How to delete the data on your device
- Open your phone’s Settings.
- Go to Apps → Kira Lang.
- Choose Storage → Clear data — all progress and settings will be erased.
- Or simply delete the app — the data goes with it.
What gets deleted
- Completed lessons, learned words and review progress.
- Experience (XP), day streak, crystals.
- The level and interests you chose, and all settings.
- Reports about AI replies saved on the device.
The anonymous identifier is erased along with the data: at the next launch the app will receive a new “Support ID”. Your subscription isn’t lost in the process — it is tied to your Google account, and the “Restore purchases” button will bring PRO back to the new installation.
The email address from the form on the site
If you left your address in the closed test request form, it is stored on our server. It is the only contact detail of yours that we have.
How to delete it: tap the removal link in any email from us. In Gmail and other mail clients there is a built-in unsubscribe button for this, and it works the same way. The address is erased immediately; all that stays with us is an irreversible hash from which neither the address nor the list of recipients can be reconstructed, and which exists for one purpose only: so that we don’t accidentally write to you again.
If you no longer have the email, write to hello@kiralang.app from the same address and we will delete it manually.
If you never followed the confirmation link in the first email, the address isn’t being used anywhere anyway: without confirmation we don’t write again.
Data on the server
The messages from your conversation with Kira are not kept on the server once she has produced her reply — there is nothing there to delete. The server keeps no request log containing content at all; service logs are limited in size and are automatically pushed out by newer entries.
If you took out a subscription, details about it are held by Google Play and by us in the minimum necessary form: the PRO entitlement, the state of the subscription and records of charges, tied to the anonymous identifier — for as long as tax and accounting law requires. To stop the renewal, cancel the subscription in Google Play (Play Store → your profile → “Payments & subscriptions” → “Subscriptions” → Kira Lang) — that is a separate operation, and we can’t do it for you.
If you need help
Write to hello@kiralang.app and we will help you delete everything connected with you. We have no accounts, so please attach the “Support ID” from the app: Profile → “How it all works” → at the bottom of the screen, next to the support address, there is a copy button.
